The A5 size daily “Hobonichi Techo Cousin” is now available in English!



This English edition Cousin techo was created in response to requests from our growing international customer base.



The book layout is the same as the Japanese edition, as it also contains a page per day, a yearly calendar, monthly calendar, yearly index, and the handy weekly diary where you can view a week at a glance to track your upcoming schedule. In anticipation of the English edition being used in various countries around the world, the calendars do not list holidays.







The page design features 3.7mm graph paper, which is sized to accommodate writing in plans or entries, or drawing charts or pictures. Similar to the Japanese edition, the English edition Cousin has each month printed in a different color.







Each daily page spread includes one quote at the bottom of the page that has been pulled from the Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun website and translated into English.







The back of the book includes bonus pages, including “Addresses,” “Graph Paper,” “My Favorite Things,” “How to Better Enjoy Conversation,” “Words to Remember,” and “365 Days: Check Off Sheet.”

The English edition Cousin has special stitch-binding that allows the book to lay completely flat without having to hold it down.







Starting with the 2023 edition, we changed the packaging from plastic to paper. You can take a peek at the techo book from the window.
