This Hobonichi Techo cover was created in collaboration with PORTER. It’s a practical cover that is as if you’re carrying a small bag when you go for a stroll. The two handles allow you to carry your techo with items you want to use that day casually. The bonded material of this cover is PORTER’s characteristic light and soft nylon, with a beautiful sheen.
The A6 size cover is a gorgeous bright green with a nice sheen to it. The color is striking and will accent your outfit despite its small size.
There are wide pockets on the front and back of the cover. It would be useful to store items you use often throughout the day, like your smartphone.
The 2023 edition Stroll cover newly includes a shoulder strap that makes it easy to carry around. The strap is black and is easy to attach and remove.
You can adjust the shoulder strap to your preferred length and hang it over your shoulder to keep your hands free. It’s great for carrying around your Hobonichi Techo as you walk around town.
Open the zipper and you’ll see the combination of bright green and navy for the cover interior. There are three card pockets and an additional, deeper pocket that’s clear so you can see what’s inside; there’s also a mesh pocket that closes with a zipper. You can carry everything you use on a daily basis alongside your techo. The pen-holder can store a slim pen; if you’ve got a thicker pen, you can store it by its clip.
About Porter
Porter was established in 1962 as the main brand of bag-maker Yoshida Kaban, established in 1935. Ensuring their products are made in Japan and paying attention to the material, parts, and sewing, they aim to create bags that blend in well the more you use it and will continue to be loved. The brand was named for hotel porters, whose daily attention to their guests’ luggage gives them a particular insight into what makes a good bag.
