This 16 cm ruler contains the outline for the Japanese pencil-and-paper game Amida-kuji, in which each person chooses a horizontal line and follows the path downward, taking every single turn until they reach the randomly-assigned result at the bottom.
In the “Normal” type, starting at the unlabeled line at 1 cm, for example, will reach the number 1 at the bottom, and starting at the line for 5 cm will reach the number 5 at the bottom.
In the “Random” type, lines reach random numbers.
The centimeter scale markings have been laser-etched into the acrylic, so they will not fade.
This ruler comes in a packaging reminiscent of that of sweets.
