These dual-tip, water-based markers have a brush pen that has a supple tip that’s firm at the same time on one side, and a fine pen tip on the other.
Ever since it was developed as artist supplies for professionals in 1984, it has gone through various improvements and has been loved by many for over thirty years.
The brush pen has vibrant colors and expresses the light and shade of the color well. You can also mix it with various colors like watercolor paint to enjoy the gradation in colors.
The ink goes well with the Tomoe River paper used in the Hobonichi Techo, and doesn’t bleed-through or feather easily.
Available from the Hobonichi Store are “Fancy,” a set of six pale and cute pastel colors, and “Nordic,” a set of six warming colors with a Nordic touch.
