These memo pads are shaped like Hobotoridori, the official character of Hobonichi’s Joys of Life shopping event.
Aki Kondo, creator of many characters including Rilakkuma and Mofy the rabbit, helped us create Hobotoridori. Each of them is so engrossed in things they like that they even change their shape to match it. There are many different types of Hobotoridori, and this memo pad features 5 different character types with 12 pages each, for a total of 60 pages in a single pad for plenty of use.
Colorful-tori wears colorful tights and has an outline of Hobotoridori on the back of each page.
Strawbertori is always walking around looking for love, and has a striped pattern on the back.
Beerhead-tori has a cute bubbly head and has big polka dots on the back.
Argyletori-Gray has an argyle pattern and has squiggly lines across the back.
Chocolatori is melty and has a checkered pattern on the back.
You can use these cute sheets as memo paper, but you can also use them for writing someone a brief letter.
We’ve created many different collaboration items with Hobotoridori for the Hobonichi Techo 2025 Spring lineup: “Sparkling Hobotoridori” for the Weeks, the Weeks-size Hobonichi Pencil Board “Hobotoridori (Illumi-dori)”, the “Hobotoridori Die-Cut Memo Pad” with five different Hobotoridori designs, washi tape and stickers that look cute when used in the Hobonichi Techo, and two sizes of Drawer Pouches.

About Hobotoridori Character Designer Aki Kondo
During her years at the design office of a stationery company, she created and designed characters such as Rilakkuma, and also worked on other product design. Subsequently, as a freelancer, she has designed characters such as Mofy the rabbit, woo and wah, and Ohagi-chan.
Her creative works include essays, illustrations, and picture books, including Dream Bank. Hobotoridori was introduced as the official character of the Hobonichi shopping event, Joys of Life.
