This crushed green tea uses a rare variety of tea leaves called “Haru-midori,” grown in the mountains of Kagoshima Prefecture.
It has a rich aroma, refreshing taste, and a fine astringency that gives this blend a flavor you won’t get tired of.
This pure tea variety has a special preparation method, as it’s harvested from a single field so as not to blend with other types before being crushed into a fine texture.
All you have to do is pour the powder into a cup and add hot water. The leaves do not dissolve, but settle at the bottom of the cup, so it’s good to stir occasionally as you drink it.
The tea is divided into individual sticks so you can use a single packet to make a cup of tea at work. You can also bring it with you while traveling so you can enjoy a nice hot cup of green tea anywhere.
