It comes in three sizes to fit the Original (A6), Cousin (A5), and Weeks. Plus, each pack includes two envelopes.



It’s useful for any techo, but it really shines when attached to the endpapers of the Weeks or HON — or any techo you use without a cover!



To use it, just peel off the backing paper and stick it firmly in place. If you’re a little hesitant to stick it down right away, it might be a good idea to slip it into the clear pocket of your Weeks for a while to test it out!

You don’t have to limit it to just the endpapers, either. Try sticking it on any page or anywhere you see fit. It is also handy for those of you who use a techo cover.

Right after sales opened at 11:00 AM on the Hobonichi Store,(Kaho) from the “Hobonichi Manga Division” sketched the crew members hard at work handling the launch — right then and there!


Whoa, this is so wonderful! Facing their respective screens, each team member is completely in the zone, focused on doing what they do best.

Among the many charming and captivating items in the Hobonichi Techo 2027 lineup, there is one particular product that completely stole my heart.

It's the Hobonichi Landscape Notebook (I Dream of a Journey) created in collaboration with picture book author Akiko Miyakoshi.



First off, the illustration on the cover is simply sublime. It perfectly captures that unique feeling of going on a trip by airplane — a mix of fluttery excitement and a tiny touch of anticipation.



And then, there’s the back cover! It evokes the breathtaking view looking out of an airplane window—a scene you can only experience while flying high above the clouds. It displays a beautiful color gradient showing the soft light as the sun rises and sets.



I am completely smitten by this striking pairing between the front and back covers. Even when I’m not writing in the notebook, I’ll want to stand it upright on my desk just to enjoy it as decor.



On the bottom right of the cover, the phrase “Unforgettable Moments.” is foil-stamped in iridescent, rainbow-shimmering aurora colors. Seeing it makes me want to cherish this notebook and fill its pages with my own precious memories.

Over at Tobichi Kyoto, we’ve been buzzing with heart-pounding excitement as we prepare for launch day, and we can’t wait to welcome you!





While entry today requires an advance reservation, we will be distributing a limited number of same-day tickets at the store for visits from 2:00 PM onward.





We will share updates regarding ticket availability on the official Tobichi Kyoto X account, so please be sure to check there if you plan to visit.

Hello! I'mfrom the team in charge of techo book production. Did you get a chance to check out the video we released yesterday (August 31) showing how our techos are bound?

Truth be told, and I visited the bookbinding factory earlier this spring!



As we toured the facility and learned about each stage of production, one phrase kept coming up again and again: “This step is done exclusively for the hobonichi techo.”

...In other words, it takes an extraordinary amount of care and effort!

Seeing how their master craftsmanship skillfully brings such a complex book specification to life filled me with renewed gratitude. It made me sit up a little straighter and gave me a fresh surge of motivation to give it my absolute all for launch day!

An open space that’s usually a free area for staff has been transformed into our official launch station, lined with monitors.



As launch time approaches, team members involved with the Hobonichi Techo 2027 release are gathering one by one. It won’t be long now before sales go live!

from the techo team landed in Seoul, South Korea yesterday!



From tomorrow, September 2 through September 6, a special five-day pop-up stationery event called “PAGE TO PAGES” will be taking place in Seongsu, the trendsetting hub of Seoul. Co-hosted by Loft and Korean select shop 29CM, this event brings together a host of Japanese and Korean stationery brands.



The Hobonichi Techo team was invited to participate, so we've flown out to Seoul! This marks the very first official techo event in South Korea, and we could not be more excited.





So while keeping an excited eye on today’s official launch online, we’ve been hard at work setting up our booth for tomorrow’s opening.



This photo was taken yesterday right after all our techos and stationery items arrived safely at the venue. Everyone was getting fired up, saying, “Let’s get all of these set up!”

We just received word from “Hobo no Eki Akagi”— Hobonichi’s brand-new space located at Torii Pass near the summit of Mount Akagi in Gunma Prefecture — that everything is set for sales to start!

Because the store opens at 10:00 AM, it actually launches a little bit earlier than our online store! Plus, since it’s an officially operated Hobonichi venue, you’ll also receive all eligible Hobonichi Store purchase benefits with your order.
