Techo team members will be talking about sales information,
their recommended stationery, usage examples, and more.
Hello! This is Annen from the Techo Team.
Writing this Techo NEWS has me really excited.
Here are the three Hobonichi Techo 2025 planners I chose:
1) For Work
・Cover: Arts&Science: Baby Buffalo
・Planner Book: Planner
2) For Personal Use
・Weeks: Naoki Ishikawa: Denali in the Midnight Sun #1
3) For My Diary
・Cover: Hollywood Ranch Market: Indigo Jeans Pocket
・Planner Book: Large Hobonichi 5-Year Techo
For my 2025 planners, rather than just picking what felt like “me,” I chose ones that reflect who I want to become.

1) For Work
For my work planner, I chose an Arts&Science cover with the Planner inside.
It’s definitely a luxury item for me,
but wow, it’s so cool!!!
(A little reward for working hard this past year.)
The words of
from a past
have been on my mind:
“If the price is your reason for buying, don’t.
But if the price is your only reason for not buying, go for it.”
That really gave me a push to get this one.
Owning something nice makes me feel more put together,
like I stand a little taller and feel more confident.
I also love that this red leather gets shinier over time, which was one of the reasons I chose it. I'm excited to see how it ages.
▼The inside and outside use different leather colors, which is a nice touch.
▼The tab has a hidden magnet, so it snaps shut nicely
I tend to stick all sorts of things into my work planner,
so it always ends up stuffed.
Will I manage to keep it sleek and smart in 2025?
▼My 2024 work planner got so thick, it can stand on its own!
(But I actually love how full and round it looks.)

2) For Personal Use
This is my “Input Techo,”
where I jot down movies, books, and exhibitions I’ve experienced.
2025 will be my fifth one!
I debated a lot between this and
Bow & Tie: Sushi,
but in the end, I chose Naoki Ishikawa’s design.
That glossy cover with a bold mountain shot was love at first sight.
▼Just looking at it gives me a refreshing feeling.
▼My 2024 Input Techo.
One of the first things I wrote in it was about visiting a Naoki Ishikawa exhibition.

3) For My Diary
My first 5-Year Techo is finally coming to an end,
so it’s time for a new one.
I love how much space it has for writing,
so I’m sticking with the “Large Hobonichi 5-Year Techo.”
Since I like to keep my 5-Year Techo standing on my desk,
a cover is a must.
(The soft cover bends easily if left uncovered…)
I picked the HOLLYWOOD RANCH MARKET cover for its useful pockets.
▼Perfect for keeping my favorite stickers handy.
My first 5-Year Techo grew into something so thick and full over the years.
▼So many memories in here. Thank you for everything!
▼For Christmas lately, I’ve been alternating between KFC and Mos Burger’s chicken.
I haven’t written it down yet, but that year was a Mos Chicken year.

As for my must-have writing boards,
I chose Paddington
and Pencil Board: Ice Gray×Yellow.
I’m still deciding which stationery to use with them, so I’ll take my time figuring it out.
▼Some of the contenders.
Stay tuned for the next update!
