Did you know that for the past few years, we’ve been distributing a free little leaflet at Hobonichi Techo retail spaces?

This year, from the techo team have created a luxurious, 27-page full-color booklet titled “The Hobonichi Techo Guide to Choosing & Using.” It’s available in both Japanese and English to help you pick your techo companion!



Tada! Look for the cute cover, which shares the exact same color palette as the Colors cover “Blue Parasol.”



The illustrations were drawn by Kanako Kagaya, an artist we previously collaborated with on a lovely Cover on Cover. Even the back cover is super cute...!



This booklet is packed with essential information tailored especially for those encountering the Hobonichi Techo for the first time, answering questions like:
・“What is the hobonichi techo?”
・“How should I choose one?”
・“How is everyone else using theirs?”



We also feature eight full pages showcasing real-life usage examples from our users!



On the very last page, you’ll find a “Techo Diagnostic Chart.” If you’re wondering which book format to pick for 2027, this chart is a great place to start!
